The joint statement charts a way forward in the economic and trade relations between the three countries. The Liechtenstein Government welcomed the joint statement which levels the playing field on US tariffs for Liechtenstein companies with respect to their European competitors and recognizes Liechtenstein's special relation to its neighbor Switzerland with which it forms a customs union.
