Forbes Magazine recently released its ranking of 2025's most beautiful villages and Liechtenstein’s mountain village of Steg was awarded the 14th rank. Steg is a small village, tucked into an alpine valley at 1300 meters (4265 feet) above sea level.
Besides its ideal location for hiking with miles of trails, Steg is also famous for its lake Gänglesee, as well as a popular wintertime destination cross-country skiers.
