Leodis C. Matthews, an experienced trial and transaction attorney, focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, government relations, bad faith insurance disputes, intellectual property litigation, international trade, mergers and acquisitions, corporate securities, and administrative law, labor and employment litigation. Mr. Matthews has been class counsel in Civil RICO litigation, obtained numerous pretrial injunctive orders, and actively litigates in numerous federal courts.
Fluent in German, his clientele span jurisdictions worldwide. He served as Senior Trial Attorney, Commercial Litigation; an Assistant United States Attorney; a Special Trial Attorney, Organized Crime & Racketeering Section with the U.S. Department of Justice and was a Senior Counsel for U.S. Congress, House of Representatives’ Select Committee on the Assassinations of John F. Kennedy Jr., and Martin Luther King, Jr.
Since 2007 Mr. Matthews has been serving as Honorary Consul of Liechtenstein to the Western United States.
Leodis C. Matthews graduated from Lewis & Clark College in 1971 and Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College, in 1973.
